Erik is a multi-instrumentalist and producer who brings to life other people's creative ideas by becoming a living instrument himself for clients and artists to use. He knows that the most important part of the creative process is to work as a team and genuinely listen to and apply everyone's individual and collective creative visions.

Erik has worked to develop Blu3kat from a personal studio space to a thriving Label and business that represents over 20 artistic projects and works with multi-million dollar franchises and international acts. Currently he is working towards expanding Blu3kat’s marketing reach as well as expanding the audience reach for Blu3kat’s artists. 

Erik is classically trained in western music theory, piano, and operatic voice and has been awarded the Louis Armstrong Award for his performances on the fretless jazz bass.

When he is not playing one of over 30 instruments, Erik can be found playing dungeons and dragons with his colleagues and enjoying a variety of restaurants with his wife Sarah.
