An experimental myth making studio undertaking that explores forgotten faiths and far expands upon the ancient texts and spoken tales found in theologies worldwide.

Known by some as provocateurs, and by others as universalist pagan zealots, Dead Gods are the New Gods have an inherently new sound with an eerie familiarity. Since 2020, the sound design duo of Totem Faehy and Erik Leone have cultivated a studio project like no other, focusing on using song and sonic texture to create new myths and prayers for pantheons, both known and forgotten. Their music is at times foreboding and minimalist but they inevitably will drift into the modern with sparkling harmonics. From drones to throat singing to their found sound, through their synthesized modernity, they bring the listener on a journey through myth, paying homage to to old gods, new gods, dead gods, life and death, the underworld below, the heavens above, musing from the physical plane that exists somewhere in between those two. the demise of legends and the rise of the modern myth.
